Adoption Updates

It's a cloudy and rainy spring day today--perfect for some quiet reflection.

I've been sifting through old adoption-related emails, and because this time of year always takes me back to this time in 2002 when we were waiting for our girls, I've been "strolling down memory lane" and shedding a few tears!

I've decided to post the "adoption updates" here that we sent via email to friends and family back in 2002. And, for the sake of historic accuracy I've decided to post them using the actual date they were composed and sent.

I'm sure there are more that I haven't come across yet, but let's start with these:

June 9, 2002 - We've found another daughter!

July 8, 2002 - THE phone call, "...be in Russia THIS Saturday"!

August 15, 2002 - So busy since our first trip to Russia

August 27, 2002 - Our court date has been set!
